BFDI: Branches is a spectacular twist transforming the familiar Goiky universe into a dramatic, creative, and “chaotic charm” 2D action playground. This is not just a simple platformer game but a tribute to the “both funny and crazy” spirit that has made the BFDI brand.

BFDI: Branches is a quest for the shattered Goiky cake, designed with challenging levels, accompanied by BFDI’s signature witty storytelling element.

Each main character, such as Firey, Leafy, Coiny, and Pin, is not only different in appearance or personality but also possesses unique skills that open up separate branches in each level.

Branching system and characters

BFDI: Branches does not force you to follow a fixed path. Instead, character selection (and sometimes in-game decisions) will open up multiple “branching paths”. Each path leads to new areas, new items, or even… side plots.

• Firey can burn away bushes that block his path.
• Leafy can hover and move smoothly through windy areas.
• Coiny can bounce off hard surfaces, creating a higher jump.
• Pin can break blocks with his thrusts.

New and notable features

Upgraded integrated level editor

• You can design areas that are exclusive to one character (e.g., a path that only Leafy can fly through).
• You can set event conditions like “when Coiny touches this ground → opens another area”.
• Easily share online and browse the community map repository—with a tagging, rating, and review system like a true “creative marketplace”.

The community and map “meta” are growing every day

• Maps based on original BFDI lore (e.g. “Escape Yoyle City” or “Dream Island Heist”).
• Extreme speed challenges that require super-fast reflexes.
• Puzzle maps with humorous dialogues—bringing BFDI storytelling elements into gameplay.

Animated cutscenes and “mini-cartoon” interactive dialogues

• Some dialogues will only be triggered if you meet special conditions (e.g. destroying a map with the wrong character).
• Cutscenes have exclusive animation effects, like a short episode of BFDI contained within the game.

Simple controls

• WASD/Arrows to move and jump.
• Depending on the character, you can activate special skills with the secondary action key (customizable).
