    A Platforming World Hidden in Shadows

    The world of Shadeshift hides its secrets until you shine a light on them. Guide your character through dark environments where platforms and hazards may only become visible when illuminated. Your flashlight reveals important details, but turning it on can also change the danger around you.

    Each stage presents a new route to figure out. Move carefully through the environment, jump over obstacles, and switch between light and darkness to find a way forward. Your ultimate goal is to reach the star and light it up so you can collect it.

    Switch the Light to Change Your Route

    Exploration in Shadeshift depends on understanding what appears in the beam of your flashlight. Some objects help you progress, while others can block your way. Learning when to illuminate an area and when to leave it dark is crucial to overcoming the platforming challenges.

    Look beyond the visible path and pay attention to how the environment changes as you toggle the light. A seemingly impossible section may become manageable once you discover the right combination of movement and illumination.

    How to Play Shadeshift

    1. Explore the Platforms: Move with WASD or the arrow keys to navigate the level. Look for a route toward the star while staying alert to hidden obstacles.
    2. Toggle the Light: Click to turn your flashlight on or off. Use the beam to reveal parts of the environment that would otherwise remain hidden.
    3. Plan Your Jumps: Use the visible platforms and obstacles to decide where to move next. Be careful around hazards that react to illumination.
    4. Manipulate Light and Shadow: Switch lighting conditions when necessary to reveal a path or pass through dangerous sections.
    5. Illuminate the Star: Find the star at the end of the level and shine your flashlight on it to collect it.
    6. Continue Your Adventure: Collect the star to progress through the game. Press P to access the pause menu when needed.

    Shadeshift combines platforming, exploration, and light-based puzzles in a world where what you see can change your next move.
