Shady Cats: Acorns on a Dangerous Route

Every movement matters in Shady Cats. Guide your cat across platforms to collect acorns while a shadow follows your previous movements. Touching a shadow ends your run, so careless backtracking can quickly turn a safe route into a trap. The challenge comes from predicting where danger will appear next. Jump between platforms, adjust your direction, and leave enough room to escape.

Bonus Items That Change Your Run

• Fish: Boosts your collection rewards but attracts bees.
• Bees: Add hazards that make bonus hunting riskier.
• Fireflies: Clear shadows temporarily to help you survive.
• Power-up Cards: Shield, Vanish, and Magnet provide additional ways to handle obstacles.

Five Locations and More Cats to Unlock

Travel through five environments: Backyard, Living Room, Rooftops, Kitchen, and Fishing Pier. Collect 22 cats, pursue 48 medals, and climb five leaderboards featuring country flags.

For a tougher solo challenge, Crazy Mode introduces endless gameplay with earlier shadows. Local multiplayer also supports up to four players, creating a shared challenge where everyone's movements can complicate the available routes.

How to Play Shady Cats

Step 1: Collect Acorns

Move your cat toward nearby acorns using the assigned directional keys.

Step 2: Jump and Dodge

Use the jump key to navigate platforms and avoid dangerous encounters with shadows.

Step 3: Plan Your Next Move

Watch your shadow's position before changing direction or revisiting an area.

Step 4: Use Items and Survive

Collect useful bonuses, avoid bee hazards, and take advantage of fireflies to clear shadows.

• Player 1: A / D or Q / D to move; W / Z to jump.
• Player 2: F / H to move; T to jump.
• Player 3: J / L to move; I to jump.
• Player 4: Left / Right Arrow to move; Up Arrow to jump.
